Farpoint Convention works tirelessly to ensure all fans can enjoy the convention events. We offer a dedicated seating section at the front of the ballroom for fans with disabilities. ASL interpreters are on the stage signing to assist hearing-impaired attendees and a large screen is set up to project the on-stage activity to assist visually-impaired attendees. You can also request ASL and/or vision assistance for activities not on the main stage, either in advance to Contact@FarpointCon.com or in person by stopping at the Information Desk or the Registration Desk.
The Sheraton Baltimore North has many features helpful for accessibility (you may need to scroll down the page to see the the accessibility information). The hotel’s accessibility features include:
- Elevator availability to hotel rooms and convention center floors.
- Sleeping rooms with mobility access and roll-in showers are available but in a limited quantity.
- Accessible parking spaces.
- Accessible public entrance.
- Self Operating lift or a sloped entry in hotel swimming pool
- The fitness facility has an accessible entrance.
- TTY is available for guest use.
- Service animals are welcome in the hotel and all convention areas. See our Rules and Policies page for additional information on Service Animals and pets.
- Attendees requiring use of a ramp to enter the Warfields Ballroom, where the Vendors and Dealers are located, will access the ramp through the Rain Restaurant next door. The ramp is located behind the restaurant’s table seating area.
